Exuberant is an emerging Canadian jewelry designer. At the time of creating their e-commerce, website they had already started the project on their own. They had a portfolio site that I had to transform into a fully function shop for their jewelry. While working on this project, I was given specific assets to include, but could also make recommendations towards some of the product photography done during my time working on the site. While Exuberant had already a sense of their branding, I was able to help define it and implement their values into the website.
While developing the design language for the site, I used a moodboard to better define the company's branding. Depth and texture were guiding themes in my process as Exuberant's target market is sophisticated, expressive, and artistic.
While creating wireframes for Exuberant, I had to take into consideration the limitations and obstacles of the web builder being used. Divi for Wordpress has a lot of edit-ability and flexibility built into their own UI, however there were certain flourishes within my designs where I had to decide whether it was worth doing them in CSS or omitting them from the site.
